Hasbrouck Associates has extensive experience working to accommodate the unique needs of students with special differences at Kingsbury Day School, schools with alternative learning environments such as the Hyde Leadership Charter School, and students of various ages at all levels of the K-12 system from pre-schoolers to young adults. 

Hasbrouck’s guidelines and furniture specifications were adopted as the system-wide standard for DC Public Schools.  
In 2011, Hasbrouck Associates managed and coordinated the delivery of 12,000 furniture units to an elementary and high school within a 30-day period, successfully completing the project prior to the first day of school.  The project management team authored and published furniture standards and guidelines for the K-12 District of Columbia Public School (DCPS) System, in support of District quality assurance initiatives.  Throughout the facilitation of the entire project, the team addressed special needs in the design and layout of furniture for autism and early education for DCPS.

Judy Hasbrouck is a dynamic and highly-skilled workspace consultant with over 30 years of experience successfully translating the needs of clients into innovative workspace planning, management, and furniture solutions.  Judy is an expert in providing exceptional products and services for a wide range of clients, including corporations, government agencies, educational institutions, and religious organizations. 

Judy began her career after earning an Interior Design degree from Howard University in 1978, immediately establishing herself as a high-performance leader in furniture consultancy and furniture sales.  She focused on interior design-related sales, including high-end decorative hardware, residential furniture, and commercial furniture.  Later, Judy brought her expertise to major dealers such as Stern’s and Arbee’s, where she implemented and supervised commercial furniture projects in the government and private sector in the Washington, DC, Metropolitan Area. In these roles, Judy represented industry-leading, quality manufacturers including Steelcase, Haworth, and Knoll, among others, delivering exceptional results.  In 1991, she founded Hasbrouck Associates and continues to provide practical workspace planning solutions to a loyal client base that needs professional, quality furniture services.

Today, Judy is committed to ensuring tailored solutions and customer satisfaction through needs assessments and thorough space planning while meeting profitability objectives. Throughout her career, Judy has built a solid reputation as a trusted and skilled leader in her field, consistently delivering exceptional leadership, organization, management, planning, and negotiation expertise. Her innate ability to establish rapport with clients, vendors, colleagues, and key stakeholders at every level, coupled with her ability to succeed in fast-paced, high-pressure, and deadline-driven environments, are reflected in her clients’ continued satisfaction and long-standing relationships with Hasbrouck Associates. 

In her spare time, Judy enjoys playing tennis, billiards, reading, meditating, spending time with friends and family, and skydiving or youth.
